Every piece from Spuggy Designs is designed and handmade by me, Helaina, using a hand-powered knitting machine. This slower, more traditional process allows me to focus on quality and detail, rather than churning out mass-produced items.

Sustainable materials that are kind to the planet
Fast fashion relies heavily on synthetic fibres like polyester and acrylic, which shed microplastics and don’t break down in the environment. At Spuggy Designs, I choose only natural, biodegradable and eco-friendly yarns:

At Spuggy Designs, most pieces are made to order. This means I don’t create excess stock that could end up in landfill. Every item is crafted specifically for you, helping to reduce waste and support a more sustainable approach to fashion.
